Tea Treats
Turns out a steaming cup of Lipton is a proven stress buster. Results from a study at the University college London show that people who drink black tea, four times a day, have lower levels of cortisol (a stress hormone) in their blood after emotionally tense situations.
Since tea is so chemically complex, researchers say they can’t point to any specific ingredient that eases stress – it may be a combination of compounds that does the trick.
We say, let’s have tea time right now.
