Questions.. You've gotta ask mum!
Hey guys.. first of all if this thread isn't in the right place, I'm sorry for that and please shift it to the right place. Thank you in advace
These are some very important question that you should at some point ask you mum. These question about ur mum's health will determine some imp. facts bout ur health.
Have you broken a bone?
If she did, find out the circumstances. If your mum broke her ankle from slipping on an icy sidewalk or some other pretty common spill, it could be a sign of osteoporosis(a condition in which bones are brittle and prone to breaking). The younger she was when the injury ocurred, the more serious the implications for you. Another possible sign of osteoporosis is losing more than an inch in height, so ask her if she 's shrunk since she was your age.
Did you have a skin growth removed?
If she answers yes, find out whether it was cancerous and what type of cancer she had. If she had skin cancer, your chances of getting it is higher . To protect yourself you must wear the highest SPF based sunscreen you can find and avoid the sun as much as possible.
How's your blood pressure?
High blood pressure is partially genetic in cause. Most women will develope it in thier 40's or 50's9around the time tht ur mother developed it). To protect yourself you should keep your weight in a healthy range and get atleast 30 to 45 mins of aerobic excercise 3 times a week + reduce salt in you diet.
Have you ever been depressed or anxious?
If yes, your chances of following in her footsteps is 3 times higher than a normal person.
What were your menstrual periods like?
What your mother's cycles were like won't really have any bearing on your experience, but one thing is for sure: The age at which your period starts and stops tend to run in families. So if your mother had premature menopause(before age 45) or later menopaure(54 or later), there's a good chance your body wll follow as well.
