usually couples criticize on looks and that has brought stress on the other..for example..the other day a lady with freckles and much healthy physique waz saying my husband isnot happy with my looks...and the problem waz her health...she had digestion problem...which affected her outer look...
now in this case..i dont think criticism did any work...and i dont think constructive criticism will also do anything...but mutual work towards it and motivation..can be helpful...

See, why can't he accept the fact that the freckles won't go away and live with it? It should be easier for him to accept it. Guess some people will never understand that growing old together is a blessing.

It is also about being practical. Of course you should maintain yourself physicially but whats with these outlandish expectations?
