till divorce do us part
Traditional marriage vows: To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish 'till death do us part.
The way I see the world today, I read it as: To kick and to scold, from this day forward, for conflicts, for selfishness, for me, for myself, in sickness or in discomfort, to scream and to yell 'till divorce do us part.
Why do marriages fail? It's become a norm for the divorce deed to splash forward.
