To answer ur question, we live in a society where the men are expected to be the financial provider, it would hurt the a man's ego if a woman is making more money. For some ppl its not so bad, i wouldn't mind if my wife made more money then me, if that meant i had to do little to minimal work
I guess im just lazy.
