Well yes, PTA has struck again and this time YouTube comes under it's axe. It's such a shame that they have to block the entire websites just because of a few videos that don't do well with their code of ethics. My personal view to follow after these methods that will help you access and watch YouTube videos in Pakistan.
EDIT: Seems like Youtube has been unblocked by the PIE and I can access it.

I applied for a 256K DSL connection that comes with free modem, unlimited bandwidth for three months (with one year contract) and installation from PTCL's 1236 line. So far I haven't been able to get my connection installed despite all those phone calls to 1236, local exchange, PTCL's General Manager FTR region, and of course, their DSL department. The website of PTCL (Pakistan telecommunication company limited), like all official websites in Pakistan, is being run by idiots. Considering that it's the Godfather of telecommunication in Pakistan, acts such as plagiarism are pathetic at best. I can't seem to assimilate these cheap stunts performed by Microsoft just so they could pull the market share (albeit: beat Apple) for it's Zune Mp3 Players. Having failed to impress the public already with everything they did, do, or plan to, they've decided to brag about Zune. Surprise surprise, they're doing it on msnbc.msn.com. Well I went on to shop for some appliances from emarkaz.com only to find out that they were nothing but scammers! I am so glad that they rejected my order and refunded my money back because they don't accept orders from a non-us account even though their service(s) are centred around Pakistani citizens.
I did a little bit of price research in the market and found out that their products were extremely over priced (30%-55% difference) on every item. Here's an excrept from the tamasha blog tha
