The country's biggest music maestros have joined hands to judge what can be called the biggest reality show on TV. Channel [V] has announced the arrival of A.R. Rahman for the final phase of auditions of Samsung [V] Super Singer, judging along side Adnan Sami.
As the journey to discover India's next singing sensation progresses to its final stage, Rahman will accompany Adnan during the final stage of this selection process. The 30 short-listed participants from the zonal round will be flown into Mumbai and will undergo intensive grooming and training and will then be further short-listed to 5 by Adnan and Rahman.
The 30 aspirants from the zonal auditions will undergo a rigorous training and grooming programme. These 30 aspirants will further get short-listed to 5. These 5 finalists will then undergo another month of training, grooming and will receive a complete makeover. They will also be given an opportunity to compose their own original tracks for the final audition.
During this period, viewers would get the opportunity to become a part of the judging process by casting their vote, via SMS, for Samsung [V] Super Singer.
Samsung [V] Super Singer will walk away with:-
A recording contract for the release of a music album with the country's leading composer and lyricist.
An opportunity to playback for a leading Bollywood producer.
Release of a music video to launch the album.
The other 4 finalists will also contribute one original track each to the album.
