Secrets In The Forest!

Long where the road ends
deep into the forest
waiting since a long time
for someone to come,
holding the deepest secrets
the stairwell awaits!

Who knows what they saw
worn and trodden all along,
Was it a kings empire
whence the knights come in armor,
Was it a serene temple
where the gods visit the disciples,
Or was it a lovers domain
love guiding their way
where the birds keep their secret
and the trees do sway.

How mystical a land
bonded by a magic bond
secrets buried deep in thy breast
with a beauty of heavens mix
where the hopes might rest

I long to tread them
count how many in all
find the story of each one
and fill the eager call

But are not secrets left unsearched
like the hidden stairwell
deep into the forest
where the world ends...
