GEO News - Pro or Anti State?

Im agree with you Endurer and the only one thing which i hate most they ( GEO ) propagate and want to dilute Indian culture in Pakistanti Nation. Pakistan has own identity and we completly different from Indians whcih was the main cause of Indo-Pak sepration. Apart from some gainful and knowledgeful programme like Capital Talk and Mere Mutabiq, I hate rest of other programmes which you have been metioned earlier in your coulm. I strongly condemn person's disgrace like ( Inzamam and other players ) funny programme and Geo must have to stop such type of stupid programmes.

Absolutely, it's a shame how they made fun of Inzamam with their moronic cartoons. I'd disagree with you on capital talk and mere mutabik though. They're good if one's looking for gossip or cynicism but in all honestly, they are one dimensional, they lack objectivity, are biased, and above all, incite more pessimism than our politicians could muster. The shows on AAJ TV (Live with Talat & Bolta Pakistan) are more analytical than what GEO has to offer. PS: GEO has followed suit (read: ripped off) with Left Right as an answer for Bolta Pakistan.

I heard that GEO was kicked out of Dubai Media City and they now have moved their HQ to Pakistan.

too the point i also do agree . they make ppl more in pressure and tension state of mind , which make them scared, and wht i feel bad about these news channel, wen there somethig BAD happened in country , instead of making coutry relax they proudly say " We are one who are showing this clipping or breaking news first"

Absolutely, they take pride in airing carnage.

Yeah you all are right, GEO and other news channel in the name of freedom of media, crossing thier limits and make the news tidy. If we talk about the news channel like BBC, CNN, they are also free, infact freedom of media was initiate from these channel, but they never ever make fun of thier politicians and celebrities.

I also hate, especially Geo for thier makking fun of the celebrities.

It's been widely reported (or speculated, for that matter) k iske karta dharta kuch aur hi hien. What disgusts me is k yeh media kese ghunda gardi kerta hai. Aaj inko koi criticize kare, kal yeh usko hi news mein ragar dete hien.
