the american agency fund for peace states pakistan is the 9th country likely to fail,last year it was at 34.what can be done to salvage pakistan

I hope that Pakistan fails and America come to its rescue and make it its 52nd state. WOW!!

that would be great! after all every Pakistani wants to come to USA.

Pakistan a failed state? that even 9th? ahead of afghanistan? only a fool would lump Pakistan together with Afghanistan or Somalia or Iraq.

As per those analysts:

a failing state is one in which the government does not have effective control of its territory, is not perceived as legitimate by a significant portion of its population, and does not provide domestic security or basic public services to its citizens.

Isn't it happening in almost every single country at planet Earth? that above notion points towards USA itself.

According to world bank and IMF, Pakistan is a country which has improved its economy and goevrnance.

Dsjeya friend, perhaps a research on Pakistan's growing economy could have been helpful for you. Don't just post what you read in a certain newspaper, excogitate instead.
