hmm of what I hve heard and read...A continent with its own history and resources when it comes agriculture, economy, communication and business..with too many nationalities staying and languages spoken..a beautiful destination for a tourist...poverty exists and so does health problems like malaria and Aids...A land which is no doubt beautiful having indian ocean and atlantic ocean..to its sides..giving away many pearls..having many natural attractions like table mountain cable way, cradle of mankind, different species of plants (heard there are some plants who lived more than 1 century- GOD knows) and how can i forget whale watching...the place i want to see is "God's window" and cradle...
yes animals..cute..there are some parks for their safety..i heard there is some parks in which one can use jeep inside and watch elephants, lions, kangroo and etc and experience the wild life...now when it comes to eating...i cant forget that kangroo and crocodile is served in the high profile restaurants...
overall its a beautiful country...with many natural gifts

Street crime, homicide, lots of cricket, beautiful beaches, and AIDS pop into my mind when I hear about RSA.

hmmmmmm interesting thoughts, yep crime is ruling for the moment but yes, we have loads of beautiful holiday destintations & tourist attractions, its nature at its best, we have lots of tourists visiting SA, "Gods Window" & "Cradle of Humankind" is also magnificient, in fact i only saw the latter last week, lots of foreigners, loaded with Pakistanis, Nigerians & Somalians to name but a few, we are the rainbow nation and off course we have Madiba - the father of peace - crime however is chasing away alot of professionals
