Pre-nuptial agreements

Hello,
Should it be compulsory for Couples to go for Pre-nuptial agreements?

Now the question for some is What is pre-nuptial agreement ?
Pre-nuptial agreement also known as "premarital" or "antenuptial" agreements -- are legal contracts executed by prospective spouses that establish what happens to their income, assets, and debts if the marriage ends in divorce, separation or death.

i did not go for it nor my daughters
but sounds a good idea

but i would like to question...would with this agreement...the impact on the marriage ..or the relation of couples face any problems...cause in the end of the day trust is one of the main issue.

if marriage is viewed as a contract prenupital agreements are ok

and if they are viewed as commitment...then they are not ok...right...

In my opinion Pre-nuptial agreements should not be compulsory. Because marriages should not be bonded with any kind of agreements (for what ever those agreements are for). marriages should be bonded with love not with materialistic things like money or assets. you are not buying a company or car, you are marrying a person who you love.

well it again depends on the ppl u r dealing wid, if u r dealing wid some terha ppl u dun trust then the agreements are necessary otherwise marriage itself is a big agreement.

how can marriage be done without trust...or is it force marriage u r talking abt...
