Baat bay baat aankh us ki jo chalakti hogi
us nay chahray ko bazoo main chupaya hoga

Soocha hoga usnay din main kai baar mujhay
Naam hatheli pay bhi likh likh kay mitaya hoga

Jahan us nay mera ziker suna hoga kisi say
us ki aankhoon main bhi koi aansoo aaya hoga

Raat k bheegnay tak neend na aae hogi usay
us nay takiye ko seenay say lagaya hoga

ho kay nidhaal meri yadoon say tou jana
meri tasweer pay hoont apnay tika daina piya
