Qurbaton mai b Juda'ee ke Zamane mange
Dil wo Be-Mehr ke Roney ke Bahaney mange

Apna ye Haal ke Dil Haar chuke, Mitt bhi chuke
Aur Mohobbat wo hi Andaaz Puraane mange

Hum na hotey to kisi aur ke Charchey hotey
Khulqat-e-Shehr to Kehney ko Fasaney mange

Ye hi Dil tha ke Tarasta tha Marasim ke lye
Ab ye hi Tark-e-Talluk ke Bahaney mange

Mai wo Mehroom ke, jese koi Weerana hoon
Tuu wo Khush-fehm, Kharabon se Khazaney mange

Zindagi Hum Tere DaghoN se rahe Sharminda
Aur Tuu hai ke Sada Aaina khaney mange

Dil kisi Haal per Maaney hi nahin Jaan-e-"Faraz"
Mil gaye Tum bhi to kya aur na jaane mange
