Haar pehnaney mujhe phool se bazoo aye,

Bus gai hai merey ahsas main ye kaisi mahak
Koi khushboo main lagaoon teri khushboo aye,

Main ne din raat khuda se ye duya mangi thi
Koi aahat na ho dar pe marey aur too aye,

Us ki baatain ke gul-o-lala pe shubnam barsey
Sab ko apnaney ka us shoukh ko jadu aye,

In dino aap ka alam bhi ajab alam hai
Zakham khaaya howa jaisey koi aahoo aye,

Us ne choo kar mujhey pathar se phir insan kiya
Mudtoon baad meri aankhon main aansoo aye,
