What does 'Islam' mean?
[highlight=gold:21f45bff69]The Arabic word 'Islam' simply means 'submission', and derives from a word meaning 'peace'. In a religious context it means complete submission to the will of God. 'Mohammedanism' is thus a misnomer because it suggests that Muslims worship Muhammad (SAW) rather than God. Islam is a religion of Peace.
And all the muslim friends i've ever had have been great examples of that. It's sad the West has a different perspective of Islam after 9/11.
