Learning languages in other country.
Assalam aleikum, Today, many of us are standing in a place that has filled the country with many different people of different culture, religion and background...and in this we come face to face to some people whose language we dont know...but still being learners we try to learn some of the important words for daily use...african speaking urdu, arabi speaking urdu...french speaking arabic...pakistani speaking russian...now the Question is ![]() How well do you learn and interact with the people of other country language in the Age of Migration...learning a new language...and living with new culture...how is it for you? |

Without learning another international language or the language of the place you've migrated to, you're plain handicapped. Down here in HK, people prefer workers who can speak cantonese or mandarin and if you don't, you have very slim chances of survival. Although dubbed as Asia's world city, English seems to be the least understood language. Good thing there are a few cantonese courses sprouting up here and there to help new members of the ethnic minorities in HK otherwise it would be a living hell for anyone doing 9-5.

People called English as an International Language but in most parts of the world we cannot do without learning the local language.
