Mother's day

Assalam aliekum,


Mother's Day is a great opportunity to reconnect with their child. As a mother, it's amazing to watch her children grow, learn, change and develop on a daily basis. Sometimes the magic appears before her eyes: When did her son get tall enough to turn off his bedroom light by himself?
Motherhood is certainly not easy! Sometimes we forget the special moments and let stress and frustration take over. We learn to appreciate our own mothers even more during these times. This Mother's Day, why not remember some of the special moments or crazy times or silly days.

wsalam. I remember my mum making sumthing sweet for me when i get back home from school. It was/is one of my sweetest memories. InshAllah i'll do that for my kids in future.

She brought me to this world, can't thank her enough for that.

She made me strong and responsible the day I set my foot on the floor. It's the courage and wisdom she has granted me through good and bad times. Being a woman and a single parent in a man-dominated gutter of a Pakistani society she couldn't do what she really wanted to for me but she couldn't hide it either. Her eyes spilled her intentions and I got hold of them; it's the thought that matters mom, I kept telling her inside of me. I remember the time when she came to my school, I had this burst of courage, humility, and pride when I saw her cheering for me. That and there I became what is still a part of me today.
