Outer beauty OR Inner beauty

Well .... we all looks different…. And our looks r something we r born with…n its not in our hands…. We cant change the way we look…. But we can so lil grooming and change our hairstyle….n do lil makeup… n wear different styles of clothes that can make us look better…… but out basic features whit which we r born cant b altered… unless one goes for costly plastic surgery…

But we there is one thing that in our hand…. And we are not born with that…n our genes don’t play any roles… Its in our hands…. N that is How the Person is from the heart….. Dil kaisa hai…. Coz its said naa…..Our face n body will grow old… but our heart always stays young…. And that who we actually are….. And its takes lots of time to know a person form heart…coz we first want to evaluate the person by physical looks…. And that always comes in between…. How many of us would like to know a person by heart first n than what to have what he/she looks like????? I m sure very few…… Coz we all want to b in company of ppl who look good…

But If I m fair, very fair, whitish.. brown…. In colour…that was never in my hands…. Or have I done anything that God gave me that colour….. Or I m fat or thin…short or tall…. Even that was also not in my hands….. Than why someone starts feeling proud abt how he /she looks!!! But what was in my hands.. was what kind of person I will grow into… I have that in my hands… but that’s not valued… we all go by just physical appearance n looks…. Outer beauty is more important than inner beauty….. Cosmetic and False appearance n looks have overtaken our real self…

Than why we see some ppl very proud n feel ppl who look average as inferior….. I m sure if one dosent look good than he/she dosent have chance that anyone would like to explore that person more…. And beauty is important factor for females…. They will b solely judged by their outer beauty for job interview or for marriage proposal….. I have heard old ppl saying…. What there to see in guys….. but gals have to look beautiful always…. N if u r not beautiful… than there will b no one who would like to explore the person u are….. We get many compliments for the way we look… but how many times we get compliment for what we actually are…

So we all go after outer beauty…. But now at the age I m… I don’t feel too much attracted by just the looks…. Its something else that has to appeal in a person…. And that cant b judged from just seeing person….. for that u need to interact with a person… has to talk…. Share thoughts….. and than have to judge weather the wavelength matches or not…… there has to b right combination of many things…..for him or her to appeal….

If we all can b judged by our deeds n actions rather than by our looks than I think it would b better….Soo…Friends…. what u look in person when u meet someone for first time….. well first impression I know are formed… but than not always first impression are last impressions....

Very true Fati, When it comes to marriages and stuff, i have seen people looking for a bride who should be so and so in height, and so and so in complexion etc.
I dont say that looks can be ignored completely, it does play a role in how things go between two people,,but some people do make a big big deal of it, and I dont go for that.
I think if the person is even average looking , he should be given a chance to prove himself.
I am saying this 'coz I know it is very very difficult to accept a person for a life partner who is very ugly. That's why I used the term "average looking". As far as friendship, job or any other things are concerned, i dont think looks play any role at all.
But one thing is for sure, that once you really love a person , he or she will look like the most beautiful person on earth to you, no matter how ugly he is .
A mother always loves and looks at her child as the most beautiful one, no matter how he is.

This reminds me of a story I had read once. A group of women labourers were working in a farm one day.. Their children were playing around .. Suddenly one of them could not see her baby anywhere and she searched here and there , but no luck. She started crying, Everyone came and asked her what the matter was , and she said that she had lost her baby.
So they asked her to describe her child, and she said that it was the most beautiful kid around and anyone could recognise it.. It was the prettiest of all.
Everyone started searching, but no one could find it. They saw a baby lying under a tree, with dark skin and two big front teeth, running nose and crying eyes. But no one thought it could be her's since she had said her baby was the prettiest.
But that was ,in fact her baby , and when she found it, she was so happy..she hugged it tight and kissed it.. And the love of her baby could be seen in her eyes. Only she could see the childs beauty 'coz she loved it with her heart and soul !

Nice Thread, U R Right My Dear Friend I Fully Agree With You. U R Right Today Is The World Of Looks ,but Then They Forget That Inner Beauty Plays An Important Role Rather Than Outer Does But Then All We Can Say Is "joh Dikhta Hai Woh Bikta Hai" Right.

U Know He/she Make Friendz Who Looks Smart By Face And Not The Inner Beauty, That One Can Know Only When U Comes In Contact With The Person.

it waz a v.nice read all over...and all i can say is...its better ppl choose wat they want...than repenting in the future...agar looks par aaj nahi chorenge tau tomorrow chor deinge...wat is the point...in the same way..other issues go...
judgement before hand is never good...everything counts...according to everyones individual requirement...and just letting u know the fact...today ppl also go for other mate ...the reason being...dont like partner's looks...dont feel love for him/her...and the reasons they give are simply idiotic...
