Are you religious?

Yeah, religion is one's personal business but for the sake of some discussions, how religious are you?

I am religious to an extent that it doesn't satisfy me or my soul. I think it's because I don't offer my prayers and recite the Holy Quran as often as I should or is required by my religion. Of course, I don't try to impose my religious views on others because whats mine is mine and whats theirs' is theirs'.

I'd say that I am religious - in that I do believe that there is a Higher Being - but do I practice all that is preached,pray everyday, or even visit the temple; no.
I follow of what I know and believe in the Hindu religion to the best of my ability.
I will say that I am more spiritual than religious - I believe and that is all that matters.

I believe, I'm religious and I strive to practice my beliefs in my daily life. My convictions are strong and unwavering. Though, I do not push my beliefs on others but I am more than happy to answer questions from others as well as share my testimony when the situation presents itself.

I chose religious...yes i dont do shirk, i dont try to hurt anyone, i m not proudy, i m good with my neighbours..do sadqa,...i choose those things for others which i choose for my self in that situation,.. try to treat everyone equally without discrimination..etc..now when it comes to right of ALLAH...yes i pray, recite, faith, trust akhira,...but its not enough..i should bring it to whole my day in every step i take in every move i make...and thats possible only when i learn dua for all the things i do..example, dua before buying new clothes, and wearing them, before and after eating food...etc

I won't say i am very religious but yes i am to a certain extent or as far as the concept of Islam is concerned because i believe islam is the perfect way of living life.

yea im religious...I believe only and only in God for everything, uske bina kuch bhi mumkin nahi hai...prayer is very important

I think kon kitna religious hai, ye to Allah Tallah ko hi pata hoga.
By offering prayers, reciting quran, we cannot really label someone to be religious. Yes like adeel, i am also aware of my short comings when it comes to oferring of namaz and recitation of Quran.

The major part that is related to a person's realization that he or she is religious or not, coms from the fact that how much he or she knows the religion and how much he or she puts in efforts to implement religion on his or hers daily life.

Islam (since Iam a muslim therefore I would make Islam as my yard stick), is the perfect religion and provides a full life plan to its followrs. Whereas non-muslims always claim that religion and life (or politics) are two different things. Islam doesnt teach that. Islam has given us the whole scenario of everything and being its followers it is mandatory for us to lad our lives accordingly.

Caring about neighbours, muslim brothers and sisters, rasing kids to follow islam, giving charity, loving others, respecting other religions, peace loving, following other orders given by Allah SWT, following the Sunnah of Rasool Allah SAW etc and once we are comfortablly implementing such rules and regulations, then ofcourse we can say that yes we are religious. That is ofcourse my definition and no one has to agree with it
