Thread: The Prayer of a Mu'min by Rukhsar Ahmed

  1. #1
Standing in the row, hands raised high,
Absorbed in meditation, tears falling of a silent cry
Praising His creation, Seeking His protection,
Bowing down on the ground in a long prostration,
Sitting on ground now, hand firmly on knees,
Saying, "O my Lord, accept my repentance and forgive me please"
Turning first to the right, then to the left, spreading the word of peace,
Allowing the sins to fade whilst good deeds all increase,
Hands cupped but raised again, now it's time to supplicate,
With a heart full of Nur, all love and no hate,
Sharing with the One Lord all troubles and happiness,
Repenting very much with a will of none but to confess,
Finishing the prayer, awaiting a reply,
Still absorbed in meditation, tears falling of a silent cry.

I personally enjoyed this - as it is very humbly presented - Beautiful!
    take life as it comes
