How cold is the night, said the darkness.
Of my countless enemies,pray someone speak!
The slender moon had dissolved in the dusk,
the stars were yet unsettled when,
dark clouds,their flowing tresses appeared,
that should've poured down in torrents,
but not a drop,not a drop for me;
only violent gusts of frozen winds
like daggers pierced my heart, not a sound,
not the slightest sound; a deep silence closing in.
How agonizing is the passage of night!
I beseech you,my rivals,my fores, for the endless grind,
the oppression i endure, afflict my heart with a wound,
burn on my chest, a fire!
May it be that of enmity, I've but a bond with you.
