Aishwarya Rai has signed a Hollywood murder mystery ‘Windfall’ based on the 1984 Union Carbide disaster in Bhopal, reports Mid Day. The film was announced during the 20th anniversary commemoration in Bhopal and will be shot after April 2005 with approximately two-thirds being filmed in North America and one-third in India. Zachary Coffin, CEO of Zachary Coffin Productions will produce the film while Aishwarya Rai will be the executive producer.Windfall is about a young woman’s search for her father, a plant manager on duty on the night of the disaster. Ash plays the lead role of Jasmine Singh, an Indian-American debutante born in Bhopal but raised in Beverly Hills.
