    A beautiful face is more than just flawlessly applied make up. Its about waking up in the morning to bright sunlight and smiling at the first person you meet, without having to rush to the washroom, to reach for the tube of face wash. In order to achieve the latter all you have to do is set aside 15 minutes of your day, everyday. And the steps are easy. We are talking about simple facial exercises.

    These include simple exercises that prevent the facial muscles from losing their suppleness and elasticity to the ravages of time. Follow these simple instructions.

    FOR EYES

    Sit straight and slowly close your eyes. While doing so, look as far down as possible and while opening them look as far up as possible.

    Sit straight and now slowly lift your eyebrows even as you stretch your eyelids down. Don’t force your eyelids. Do as much as you are comfortable with.

    FOR YOUR FOREHEAD

    Sit up straight. Now bring your eyebrows down and wrinkle your nose as much as you can. Count ten in this way. Repeat this exercise at least 5 times.

    Lie flat on the bed to stare at the ceiling. Now, with your eyes open lift your eyebrows. Relax. Now repeat this exercise at least 10 times.

    FOR YOUR CHEEKS

    Sit straight with your lips shut, but relaxed. Now using just the muscles of your cheeks, pout. Stay in this position to a count of 10 and then relax. Repeat it at least 10 times.

    Do this in front of the mirror. Smile, but with your lips closed. Smile as much as you can. Now stay like this to a count of five and then relax.

    Sit straight and wrinkle your nose. As you do so, watch the cheek muscle move upwards. Count to five and then relax.

    LIPS

    Pucker your lips slightly and try to bring the corners of your mouth together as close as possible. Count five and then relax. Do this around five times.

    With your lips in a puckered kiss position, slowly relax and keeping the lips closed, curl your lips into your mouth across your teeth. Hold this position to a count of ten.

    Facial exercises should be done every day by a beginner. But once you have got used to it, do it only three times a week. Remember that you are exercising your facial muscles so be gentle. Some women have reported some minor light spots once they have started the exercises, but these spots have disappeared in a short time. So do not be alarmed. Try out these simple inexpensive steps to a stunning you.
