Let’s Talk Jeans

I love jeans.Everybody LOVES jeans! There are THOUSANDS of jeans out there – some new, some not-so-new, and some found in retro boutiques all over the country (my favorite!) They’ve been around FOREVER. These are MY rules for wearing jeans.


Wear jeans that look good on YOU. I know everybody likes to wear low-rise jeans, but if you have a bit of a tummy (or a lot of tummy) PLEASE don’t do it!!! Tummy “spillage” is just… EEEWWWWWWW!!


Don’t believe me? Go to the mall, and look at all the girls wearing low rise jeans that SHOULDN’T be! NOT a pretty picture!


Instead, find a jean style that looks GREAT on YOU, then make them your own! There are all sorts of things you can do to “customize” YOUR jeans.

Anyway, you get my point. Fashion isn’t about following the crowd and looking like a clone. Fashion is about being YOU and having FUN!

Full Curves:
Choose dark denims and go for a slim fit with boot cut legs.

Short legs:
Opt for full length jeans rather than denim capris. Avoid stretch denims.

Big Butts:

Wide hips:
