The Hindu Sastras wrote about long cycles of time called Yugas.
The time cycle of light and darkness that we know is divided
into two parts - day and night. Kalpa is a period of 4.32
billion years which consists of four Yugas. In the first
part called Krita Yuga (golden age), the evil varies from
near zero in the beginning and reaches a value of 10% by the
end. By the end of Treta Yuga, evil reaches a value of 25%.
By the end of Dwapara Yuga, evil reaches a value of 50%. In
Kali Yuga (the present age of deep darkness) whose span is
432000 years, the maximum value that evil can reach is 90%.
It assumes that there will be a 10% good which the evil can
never over shadow. It is some thing like the root value of
humanity which has higher spiritual power.

Modern Hindu astrologers wrote that the crime rate in the
world will reduce to 40% of its present level in about
    two decades from now.

Don't think. Will reserve my comments for sometime when I am in a position to suitably reply.

Sir - Interesting topic. Congratulation. Have to go through the Hindu Mythology in detail before commenting anything. But what I feel is by birth no one is evil and no one is god. Its just the situation and surroundings force an individual to change his attributes. So, I would take it rather evils are less than the god ones. And it has always been if you go through the History. But somehow those evils cud motivate the people to be with them temporarity to create a sinful situation around. But unltimate the good people will only prevails. Need to think a bit more.
