Its not that slow here at my side. All images and icons are visible. Perhaps your browser configuration is not correct or the ISP is having problem.
Try Mozilla Firefox browser, If you haven't already.
And thanks for the info about Seychelles. Lonndon/L.A(Los Angeles i assume) is not one location and certainly not in Seychelles.

At this moment it is fast as normal atleast at my side. Try to open some simliar forum websites and see if DT is the only one running slow at ur side?
