    Assalam aleikum,
    What do u think is important to hve in which u feel like ur iftari is other words..wat makes ur iftari complete.when it comes to dishes.?

    My aftari is totally incomplete without *dates* I do not open roza with anything else .. ya ager ghar peh nai hoon tau date ki jaga PANi say bhi kia ja sakta hai ..khair .. ermmm

    dishes mein .. Veggi pizza & tuna sandwich .. + fruit chaatttttt... in teen cheezon ka hona is imp.

    Mere liye kuch thanda peena buhat important hotta hai like us k binna iftaar adhoora hai n thanda matlab coca cola nahin balkey mashroob-e-mashriq ya koi bhi juices hon mostly i like orange n apple jucie.

    wsalam...hmm mere liye adat hogayi hai to hav fruit chaat and pakore with lassi--yeh sab cheezain honi chaiye

    umm aftari is incomplete without dates and dhoodh with roofzah n badams n pista in itt

    i dont like pakoras n fried things much.. but its ok to have some samosas n fruit chat.. idher to wo hareesa nahi hota magar abu dhabi mein my aftari was adhuru with out hareessaa,, i just miss that dish here in uk

    Nina- mashaALLAH...yaani mazay se karti ho pehle fish and meat avoid karti thi...aur poultry thora thora khati thi...lekin abhi shukar al hamdALLAH have started eating it regularly...tuna sandwich is great..infact someday try tuna with macroni ...that tastes awesome.

    villies: pakora...great...mujhe onion pakora acha lagta hai..phir tau har roz pakora n pakora..:d

    Fairy sis: mashaALLAH...thanda good...mere ghar mein mostly rooh-afza pete hain..

    yassi: good...try fruit chaat with the addition of same quantity of cream+concentrated milk..its makes it more delicious...tried it yesterday only.

    syeda: dates and thandai..makes one healthy...choose one from both in ur aftari...take it as an advice.

    for me for opening the fast...dates/water...all else not can be anything.

    fairy sis...the real name is harees...we paki mostly say it hareesa here.....its a dish which takes more than 5 hrs..made of wheat with meat mostly...nowadays ppl use chicken also...its a side dish here...v.popular..i hve it in ma home everyday...
    here i hve made a thread on it..check it out..
