Make Your Hair Healthier and Damage Free

    Use the Same Shampoo
Most people don’t realize that changing your shampoo can actually cause your hair to go into shock. When your hair is in shock it is brittle, straw-like, and unattractive. To give your hair a chance to stabilize you should find a shampoo that gets your hair clean and then stick with it.

Use a Conditioner with Sun block Every Day
Using a conditioner with sun block every day has two functions. First, conditioner helps the scales on your hair follicles to lie flat, which improves both the look and feel of your hair. Secondly, the sun block in the conditioner helps to protect your hair from sun damage. If you can’t find a conditioner with sun block, look for a spray-on sun block that is designed for hair.

Use Hair Care Products That Are Designed for the Type of Damage That Your Hair Has
There are hundreds of hair care products that you can use to treat your damaged hair. However, before you select a product make sure that it is designed to treat the type of damage that your hair has, and make sure that it is a quality product. When you get your products home, make sure that you read the instructions carefully before you apply it to your hair. By following the directions on the product you will be able to improve your results.

Trim the Ends of Your Hair Every Two Weeks
Even if you are trying to grow your hair out it is important to trim the ends of your hair about every two weeks. You don’t have to trim very much, just about a centimeter if your hair is relatively healthy. However, if you have seriously damaged ends you will need to trim above the damaged area. By trimming your ends you will stop split ends and you will improve the overall look and health of your hair.

Use Kitchen Products to Heal Your Hair
There are several items in your kitchen that you can use to improve the health and appearance of your hair. For split ends, dry hair, and frizzy hair you can use olive oil and a beaten egg. Start by massaging olive oil into your hair. Then add in a beaten egg. Let this mixture marinade your hair for about 10 minutes and then shampoo and condition your hair. Mayonnaise is another kitchen staple that can be used to condition your hair. To use this home remedy simply massage mayonnaise into your dry hair and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then rinse it out of your hair. Finish up by shampooing and conditioning your hair.

    Shiny Hair for Humid Days

Shine Solution 1: Use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Dry, damaged hair is more likely to both frizz and look dull. A shampoo and conditioner with softening, conditioning ingredients will keep hair healthy and encourage shine.

Shine Solution 2: Prep hair with shine serum. After you shower, while hair is still quite wet, apply a silicone-based shine serum on areas prone to dullness. Apply your regular styling product on top.

Shine Solution 3: Dry hair correctly. If your hair is straight, use a natural-bristle brush and a blow dryer on medium heat to dry hair straight. If hair is curly, form curls with your fingers when hair is still wet, then use a diffuser or let hair dry naturally. Once hair is dry, no matter what the texture, keep your hands away from it.

Shine Solution 4: Go for an artificial shine. After hair is dry, spritz a shine serum all over locks, concentrating on areas that are looking dull.

    Home remedies For Dandruff

There are tons of home brew dandruff cures out there, every family likely knows of a different one that they will swear by to cure dandruff. Here I’ll list some of the most commonly recommended concoctions.

    Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil has an anti-fungal quality and can be mixed into lotions, oils and shampoos. Massage the mixture into the scalp and let it sit for 15 minutes prior to rinsing clean.
    Coneflower and red clover extracts
Aveda has a product named “Scalp Remedy” that is growing in popularity. It contains both coneflower and red clover extracts, comes with a dropper and is applied directly to the scalp after you shower.

    Oil soaks
Scalp massages with moisturizing oils an hour or so before bathing are said to rejuvenate a dry scalp. Skin lotions will likely work as well.

    Vinegar rinses
Some people have reported success after rinsing their hair with white or apple cider vinegar prior to bathing. It may have something to do with correcting your hair’s PH balance

    Quick Solution For Oily Hair

If your scalp is naturally oil, you probably have to shampoo your hair daily to keep it from looking greasy or stringy. If, however, you are running short on time or need a quick lift in the middle of the day, grab a box of cornstarch and a large, clean blush brush.

Pour some cornstarch out onto a dish and dip the brush into it. Then, with a comb, part your hair in the center and brush the cornstarch onto your scalp and roots. Make another part 1/4 to ½ inch off-center and repeat. Continue this method down one side of your head, then from the center and down the other side.

Go about your business for about 10 minutes while the cornstarch soaks up the excess oils in your hair. Then, take a brush and brush out your hair, ridding it of the cornstarch flakes.

    Hair Color tips

    Hues for the Season
Earthy shades are very much in vogue. Colours like chocolate brown, caramel and golden brown look fabulous and go well with the dusky Indian complexion.

    Mix ‘n’ Match
For those willing to experiment the trend is to mix and match two or more colours to get a dazzling funky look. For instance, blondes blend well with brown or brown hair goes well with copper streaks. But remember, whenever you mix two colours, one should be subtle compared to the other.

    Complexion and colours:
Hair colour should be selected according to your complexion as it decides whether you can carry off a colour or not.

    Fair Skin:
People with this complexion should go in for copper and gold shades.

    Dusky skin:
Dusky beauties should go in for light brown and burgundy shades. Since these are dark shades they do not shout for attention, thus giving a very natural yet glam look.

    Dark Skin:
This skin tone goes well with darker shades of reds like reddish brown, reddish black and preferably colours with a tinge of red.

    Application Fundas

Always test the product before application. Do a small skin test, on your hand to ensure that you are not sensitive to hair colours.

Always apply the colour in a way that it has least contact with the scalp.

If you want to go for lighter shades from darker shades, for instance, black to brown or brown to blonde, you’ll have to remove the present colour from your hair and then apply the colour you want. Bleach can be used to remove the current colour.

    Face Facts:
Colour can make your hair look flatter than it actually is. So keep the shape of your face in mind as you choose the colour

    Round Face:
Choose a dark shade like brown or burgundy as lighter shades like blonde make he face look bigger.

    Oval face:
Choose a lighter shape on the top and a dark shade below.

    Heart shape:
Choose a light shade like blonde or copper gold

    Hair Care:
Use shampoos and conditioners meant for coloured hair
Wear a hat when outdoors, to avoid sun exposure, as it wears off the colour.

Beautiful Hair Style - How to get beautiful Hair

Beautiful hair acts a vital role in making you look shiny, healthy and well-groomed. This doesn't always come naturally, so it may require a change in your beauty routine. You can give your hair a great shine and help remove soap build up:

Blondes - Add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice to your rinse water.

For conditioning hair, henna is the best. A henna paste mixed with curd, an egg and lemon juice is an excellent conditioner if left on the hair for about 45 minutes. If you have dry hair, add 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil or coconut oil to the henna paste.

Brunettes and Redheads - Add a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to your rinse water.

Stir 1 teaspoon of honey into 4 cups (1 quart) warm water. After shampooing, pour the mixture through you hair. Do not rinse out. Dry as normal.

The only natural thing I know of is Matthew Gardson's method . I use it for eyebrowth regrowth, and it takes a while, but if you do it consistently it works. I had a part of my hairline that had thinned quite a bit, so I tried it there and lo and behold, I have some regrowth there.
