Description
Back in the day, the original "Knight" text effect was one of my most popular actions, although it was little more than a layer style. Following in this distinguished tradition is "Knight+", an entirely reworked and revamped effect. The goal in updating this action was to bring something unique to the table, while enhancing the medieval feel. With its rugged, stony border and polished metallic-like interior, I believe "plus" fits the bill. The action is puncuated by a slim purple trim between the outer border and the inner fill, denoting the distinguished royal status of this "Knight".

Dramatically different and dramatically improved from the original eMC action, which was basically a layer style. This action, however, is much more than that. My goal was to make this action very "scientific" and "cosmic" looking, and I attempted to accomplish that by means of the ever swirling lines, punctuated here and there by star-like dots along their paths. What may not be obvious from the preview image is that this action is semi-transparent, so you can have lots of fun placing this one on diffferent backgrounds!

Simple yet flexible. At one point in the action, you are prompted to load in a certain pattern, and further on instructions are given for customizing the effect for the size and thickness of font you choose.
