So, 2008 is coming to an end and we're stepping into 2009. To me, this year was a personal best because I felt and experienced what I never had before. A whole new experience, as they say.
Unfortunately, it wasn't a bright one for many of us. The natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes), the credit crunch, the wars, all made it one tough year. The good thing is, we made it through.

This year has been pretty insane. I got my first real job, my first real car, and my first real credit card.I've taken on a lot more responsibilities which has made things a lot more difficult for me, but InshaAllah, things will work out.
Besides personal stuff, 2009 brings our (referring to the United States) first half black and half white president, Mr. Barack Obama. It'll will be exciting to see all of the changes he makes to our economy and to our world.
