The Band

Rungg is essentially a pop-rock band of two aspiring and highly talented
musicians, Iftikhar Habib (Ifu) and Sarmad Ghafoor. They are the two main
and founding members of the band. Ifu is the powerful and passionate voice
of Rungg, who has sung and recorded extensively as an underground rock
musician. Sarmad is the dedicated and disciplined lead guitarist who has
also played and recorded extensively as an underground rock musician.
Together they have achieved commendable success with the release of just
three songs off their upcoming, self-titled album. All songs on the album
have been produced by Sarmad.

Rungg’s line up also includes Wasim kamal (drums) and Zulfiqar-ul-Hasan
(rhythm guitar).

Current Release:

Rungg has so far released three songs from their album. These are 'Hum Na'
the powerful ballad that was a massive hit, 'Meri Dunia' the catchy and
alternative sounding number and 'Koi Jane Na' which is an upbeat track.
They have also exclusively had their song 'Saath Saath' and 'Hum Sab Saath
Hain'(nationa song) aired exclusively on City FM89.

The Album Release

The band has an album ready, expected to be released in the last quarter
of this year. The album will have about eleven original tracks. The
self-titled album brings to the music scene a new eccentricity of
emotions. With music that is highly diverse, the album is comprised of
songs packed with verve, energy and intensity of emotions.
