Changing Eye Color in Photoshop
Open a image and Click and drag the
Background layer over the
New Layer icon to duplicate the layer as a safety step. Also select the
Zoom Tool and zoom in to enlarge the eyes.
Click the
Eyedropper tool.
Click here and select
3 by 3 Average.
Click in the iris to set a reference color as the foreground color.
Click th
e Brush tool.
The Options bar changes.
Click here to open the
Brush Picker.
Drag the
Master Diameter slider to set a brush size just smaller than one-half the iris.
Click and drag the
Hardness slider to
50 percent.
Click the
Airbrush button to enable it.
Click the Foreground Color box in the
toolbox.
The
Color Picker dialog box appears.
Click and drag the
Hue slider to another color.
Click
OK to close the
Color Picker.
Click here to add a new empty layer.
Click here and select
Color for the layer blend mode.
Click and drag over both irises to
paint in the new color.
Click the
Eraser tool and erase if you paint over other areas.
Click here and drag the slider to the left until the eye color appears natural.
The eyes now appear the new color.
