Actually friend you couldn't be more wrong. Largest Muslim population is Indonesia followed by Pakistan and India. Saudi population is merely 2%; around 25million, "HALF" the population of Indian state Gujrat!
As for women being jailed/canned if they travel alone, I've lived in Saudi Arabia for 18 years and didn't hear any case of that.
Also, in rest of the world, women are mostly raped when they travel alone. May be food for your thought?
