Shahrukh is going to don the role of a father in a new Pepsodent tooth-paste ad titled 'Papa & Pappu'. Shahrukh Khan will play a cool dad having a lot of fun with his on-screen son Pappu and the ad is assumed to fall in the lines of Balki’s ‘Paa’ where Pappu like Auro will have number of questions.
The ad makers initially had two names in mind either Shahrukh or Akshay but finally they settled with King Khan. Child artist Keval will play his son. "Shah Rukh Khan is the best choice for 'Papa' in the campaign as the super successful actor also practices what he preaches. He is the perfect role model of a father who finds ways to spend time with his own children away from his active schedule and stardom," Srinandan Sundaram, Category Head - Oral Care, Hindustan Unilever Limited said in a statement.
