I am fine

When wishes are not granted,

When prayer are not answered at any shrine;

When you donn get what you deserve,

Whenever asked, smile and say I am fine.



When your efforts are wasted,

When no rewards for your hardwork flow;

When both confidence and values are hit,

Remember to say “I am fine” with a glow.



When the one you loved leaves you and go,

Cry through the night, night after night;

To douse your burning heart,

Say the same words to cover your plight.



When life seems to fall apart,

But you still can’t bury your dream;

They continue to live and hurt,

Say the three words softly, even if your wounds scream.



Life is fair for many,

Just, you are not one of those;

When life pricks you with thousand thorns,

Say “I am fine” with the look of a rose.



Accept and embrace coz you neither fight nor quit,

Your destiny or dreams or the power divine;
