Why have they blocked quiz websites?

First pager per ek site k description mein ye mila "choose from a variety of great quizzes about love, sex, family, IQ, work, beauty and more"

Sex and pornography are two different things! I wonder if they have banned the study of biology too?

But the problem is with criteri a of blocking..

u know u can defeat the firewall by using any word and pic beside sex and stuff..this the people dnt understand..

The firewall look for t the words its asked for and gets it blocked then..totherway are the people and religious policemen reporting..and also the main way is to get the no of time the site accesed..as the site spreds ..people are hungery and then the sight gets bloecked when checked..!!

They are banning IP addresses. Let me draw a picture here:

IP 210.56.8.10 is a shared IP address, there are currently 180+ websites configured at the same IP address including 10 educational portals and one pornographic websites. Country A blocks the IP address because they received complaints from someone or their internet censorship policies made them do so.

Who is going to suffer here? That one porn site or those 10 silent dot edu portals?

This my brother is worst than the era of leprosy where a person was shunned instead of the disease being properly treated.

According to the Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child, 1,549 children were sexually abused in the country last year.

Faisalabad (AsiaNews) – In Pakistan, children continue to be sexually, physically and mentally abused and their basic and inalienable human rights are still denied, this according to a report published by Pakistan’s Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child (SPARC).

The study, titled The state of Pakistan’s children 2004, reported 1,549 cases of sexual abuse last year; this represents a rate of three cases per day. It also stressed that the government ban on corporal punishment in government schools was frequently violated.

The situation is worse in religious schools where the government ban does not apply. Such educational institutions live up to their infamous reputation with practices that range from withholding food from children to chaining them.

A Pakistani minister has revealed hundreds of cases of alleged child sex abuse at Islamic schools, or madrassas. 

There were 500 complaints this year of abuse allegedly committed by clerics, Aamer Liaquat Hussain, a minister in the religious affairs department, said.

That compares with 2,000 last year, but as yet there have been no successful prosecutions, Mr Hussain told the BBC. 

The minister's revelations have sparked death threats and infuriated some religious political leaders. 

Mr Hussain said he had received death threats from clerics, but that he had done his job and his conscience was clear

Let suppose mein keh daitha hoon ka pakistan mien last year 300000 children sexually abuse hoye hain...Mostly Pvt schools mein aisay cases hoye hain ...keya tum yaqeen kerogay?
