I still remember the day,

As if its been there in my eyes always,

Like an everlasting memory,

Or like a very pleasant dream,

A day which brings out a lot of emotions,

A lot of courage and a lot of determination,

A will to succeed, the fear of losing,

Nothing is so big, nor is there something easier,

It’s a matter of hearts; it’s a matter of life,

There is so much at stake,

There is so much to lose,

Words betray you,

The air stops moving,

Its like the world has stopped to listen to you,

The mouth turns dry,

Beads of perspiration appear on the forehead,

And you suddenly feel your board exams were much easier,

You don’t want to fear about the result,

Which will come ever so slowly,

But its inevitable, you got to say it,

You look into her eyes,

Which have always mesmerized you,

Her smile always so enchanting,

You don’t want to lose her,

But to make her yours,

You got to say,

And you look into her eyes,

Hold her hands, pray to god once,

That you want to be with her always,

And this is the day; this is the grand finale,

If you win today, you win your life,

And if you lose today, she won’t be your wife,

And you tell her, that she is the one,

You say the golden words,

In a voice filled with emotion,

With your life hanging on a swords edge,

You say………

“I LOVE YOU”.:chillax;
