Lightening Effect
Lightening Effect 1-Create a new Document with any size u want...i have taken 500 X 500  2- Press D for the Default color black and white...and then Goto Edit > Fill and make the above settings.  3-Choose Gradient  and then double click on the gradient color. A box appears known as Gradient Editor...here choose the colors black and grey...and hit Ok  4- Use gradient tool on ur image something like this that it has black on top and grey at the bottom...  5- Now Goto Filter > REnder > Difference Clouds..u will get an image something like this

6- Goto Image > Adjust > Invert or press Ctrl + i.....then u will get something like this...  7- Goto Image > Adjustments > Levels and make the following settings...  8- Now Goto Image > Rotate Canvas > 90 CW. u will get an image which is ur result...  9- To save the File..goto File > save > choose the location n hit ok...done.
