You're in the basement of a house that has three light switches, all in the off position. You know that one of them controls a lightbulb in the bedroom upstairs and you want to find out which one it is. You can use the switches as many times a you want but you are allowed to go upstairs ONLY ONCE to check if the lightbulb is on or not.
